Before and during the course FAQs
This Bywater ISO 9001 Internal Auditor training course is certified by CQI and IRCA, the chartered body globally recognised as leading the drive to help organisations perform better through the application of quality management systems.
Employers can trust that individuals who have undergone the training have been taught the knowledge and skills to play a key role in effecting higher levels of quality in processes across the business.
By completing this course, you will be awarded a certificate that demonstrates your ability to apply your new and practical skills in supporting continuing improvement in your organisation.
If you are interested in improving business processes, then this course will help. Value stream mapping enables you to visually map out how processes are carried out right across the value chain, from product design and material sourcing to post-sales customer support. This will help you to identify where processes can be made more efficient and cost-effective, with the aim of increasing productivity and customer satisfaction.
This 1-day course is a blend of expert tutoring and interactive workshops and discussions. By working through the performance of FMEA techniques you will be able to reinforce your learning while still in the classroom. This applies whether you are attending a face-to-face class or joining online in our Virtual Classroom.
The ISO 45003 standard focuses on mental wellbeing at work, and fits into the wider topic of OH&S management systems, which are outlined in ISO 45001. It is designed to offer you guidance on how to manage risks to employees’ mental health.
On this course you will learn about the benefits and requirements of the standard, and how to integrate ISO 45003 within an existing OH&SMS.
If you are already a practising Six Sigma Green Belt, this course will enable you to take on a Six Sigma Black Belt role. As well as exploring advanced skills, the course will give you insights into managing projects and teams, and training others at Green Belt level.
There are other training options, depending on your current knowledge and experience.
If you would like to learn Black Belt skills but have not yet undertaken Green Belt training, you may like to look at our 10-day Six Sigma Black Belt training course, which will take you through Green and Black belt skills.
For those who are interested in gaining certification, our RSS 18404 Six Sigma Black Belt Development Programme may be your best choice.
While root cause analysis originated in engineering, it has been adapted to address the specific issues found in healthcare. These relate particularly to patient safety, where the root cause analysis approach can help investigate how incidents have occurred and how they can be avoided in the future. In the UK RCA training is used to help NHS and other healthcare organisations learn how to improve work practices and processes for safer patient care.
We have provided RCA training to, amongst others, NHS Property Services, community health organisations, clinical laboratories, private healthcare providers, and NHS health boards and trusts.
This course provides a comprehensive overview of the latest version of ISO 17025, but with content geared to those who work in laboratories that carry out forensic testing and includes specific Forensic Science Regulators (FSR) requirements and ILAC documents.
The answer depends on your level of current knowledge around laboratory quality management systems and ISO 17025.
If you feel you have little or no knowledge, then this course is your best starting place. You can then go on to attend our ISO 17025 lead auditor or ISO 17025 internal auditor training.
This is not mandatory, and if you are satisfied that you have sufficient knowledge already of the requirements of the standard, you do not need to take this course before attending more advanced training.
If you only have limited or no knowledge of ISO 5001, we recommend that you first attend our Introduction to ISO 50001 training course. This will give you all the information and guidance about the role of energy management systems and ISO 50001 that you need to fully benefit from this course from day 1.
Measurement uncertainty relates to the margin of doubt that exists for the result of any measurement, and how significant that doubt is, according to statistical analysis. ISO 17025 requires that testing laboratories should apply procedures to estimate the uncertainty of measurement. Laboratories seeking ISO 17025 accreditation will need to address this issue.
