Dedicated training FAQs
A dedicated training course is run specifically for your organisation, at a time and place of your choice. If you have a number of employees to train, this can be a convenient and cost-effective option for your business.
You may, for example, have several new staff members who need training in a specific skill set, or you would like all team members to receive a refresh of their knowledge. It may even be that a client has requested your whole team receives training to demonstrate your commitment to a standard.
Providing dedicated training gives Bywater the opportunity to tailor the content of the course to your particular business, enabling delegates to start applying their new skills quickly and effectively.
We can also work with you to design and deliver a programme of training across a range of skills that reflects the needs of your employees, such as lead and internal auditing together with business improvement techniques.
Organisations from many areas of industry and commerce have taken advantage of our dedicated training offering, including manufacturers, retailers, transport organisations, government agencies, police forces, local authorities, energy companies, healthcare providers, engineering organisations, pharmaceutical companies, construction companies, and research institutes.
You can choose where to hold your dedicated training:
- Onsite at your location
- Offsite at one of our regular venues across the UK
- Offsite at a venue close to your offices
- In our Virtual Classroom, accessible globally
The benefit of off-site training is that there are likely to be fewer distractions for your delegates, enabling them to make the most of their time on the training course.
On the other hand, if all your delegates are based in one location, you can save time and expense by running the course at your offices or nearby.
Virtual training enables those who work from different locations to take part in the training, including the interactive elements, without travelling.
With hybrid working now a way of life for many organisations, Bywater’s flexible training options enable all delegates to participate in a course, regardless of their location. We can:
- Run the course at one of your locations and invite all delegates to attend
- Run the course at a convenient offsite location for all delegates
- Deliver the course online in our Virtual Classroom, enabling those working from home and at the office to join the class

Yes, get in touch and we can share the benefit of our experience. We can let you know about room set up requirements to help you select a venue yourselves.
Alternatively you could hold the course at one of our regular venues with which we have preferential rates. These venues are geared towards hosting successful courses, with facilities including restaurant lunches, refreshments, suitable AV equipment, and bedrooms for overnight stays.
Let us know your preferred location, number of delegates and any other requirements and we can give you a price.
The price of our dedicated training depends on the chosen course and location. Dedicated training generally delivers lower cost per delegate than scheduled public courses when you train 4 or more employees.
Cost savings are also made in relation to travel expenses and accommodation fees when training is undertaken at your venue, for example your offices, or online within our Virtual Classroom.
The maximum number of delegates for dedicated training courses varies depending on the chosen course and chosen delivery method (online or face to face).
If you wish to schedule dedicated training at your premises, please also consider the room size available. Dedicated training can take place at training venues or online if you do not have space at your premises.
We recommend also taking into consideration that larger group numbers can impact delegates learning. We suggest only placing delegates on the course who require or will benefit from the training to ensure delegates remain engaged throughout the course.
Whilst our public Virtual Classroom courses take place on Zoom, our dedicated Virtual Classroom training courses can take place on your preferred platform including Microsoft Teams. Please contact our team to learn more.
