Yes, you will receive a certificate of attainment after completing this course to demonstrate that you have gained new knowledge around OH&S management systems. It is also equivalent to 7 hours CPD.
If your organisation does not yet have an ISMS but is considering doing so, you may want to deliver training to a number of employees, managers and stakeholders across the business.
You have several options, enabling you to choose the best fit for your time and budget.
You could join our public scheduled training courses, which run at locations across the UK and in our Virtual Classroom.
Alternatively we can run a dedicated session for your organisation alone, at a time and place to suit you. This could prove to be your most time- and cost-efficient option. If you would like to discuss dedicated training, please get in touch.
Yes, you will receive a certificate of completion after the course, provided you were able to attend both days and once all invoices have been settled.
We suggest that you add your achievement to your LinkedIn profile and CV, as evidence of your continuing professional development. The course is also equivalent to 14 hours of CPD.
We welcome delegates from any size of business, from small consultancies to global corporations. The knowledge shared on our training courses is suitable for anyone interested in improving their own skills and contributing to continuing improvement within their businesses.
As the professional body that certifies this course, the CQI and IRCA has stated that it expects delegates to already have some knowledge of the requirements of ISO 27001. This includes requirements of the standard; the Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA) cycle; and core elements of a management system.
We do have a short quiz that you can take to check your knowledge.
If you do not feel confident that you have sufficient knowledge, but do want to train as a lead auditor, you could first attend our Introduction to ISO 27001 training course. This course is designed to give you the knowledge you need to then attend this lead auditor course. Book both courses together and you can receive a £100 discount.
You are expected to have some knowledge of the requirements of ISO 27001 to make the most of this training course.
If you have little or no knowledge in this field, you may like to attend our 1-day Introduction to ISO 27001 training course first. If you book the 2 courses together you will be eligible for a £100 discount.
ISO 45001 is an international standard that specifies the requirements for an occupational health and safety (OH&S) management system. An OH&S management system is a framework that helps organisations manage their OH&S risks and improve their OH&S performance.
Benefits of implementing ISO 45001 include:
- Reduced occupational injuries and diseases
- Greater compliance with OH&S regulations
- Better efficiency and cost savings
- Enhanced reputation and brand image
ISO 45001 is a voluntary standard, but many organisations choose to take the step of becoming certified to ISO 45001 by a professional body. Certification demonstrates to customers, suppliers and other stakeholders that the organisation is committed to OH&S.
Key concepts of ISO 45001 include:
- Risk assessment to identify and evaluate OH&S risks
- Control measures resulting in actions taken to reduce OH&S risks
- Monitoring and measurement to track and evaluate the effectiveness of the OH&S management system
- Continual improvement of the OH&S management system.
No, anyone who is interested in developing complementary management systems in an organisation, looking at quality, environment and/or health & safety, will find value in this course. It also focuses on a general understanding of the benefits and considerations around business management systems. If you wish to learn more auditing, we do offer an Integrated Management Systems Auditor training course.
The course explains the complete audit process, from planning, through checklists, report writing and reviewing corrective actions, to performance improvement support, giving you a step-by-step guide to auditing integrated management systems.
We reinforce teaching with interactive workshops and discussions with the tutor and fellow delegates to help you ensure you are achieving the greatest benefit from the 2 days of training.
