Before and during the course FAQs
Our ISO 14971 risk analysis for medical devices training is available on a dedicated basis for your organisation, allowing you to choose a convenient time and location – face-to-face or online in our Virtual Classroom. Please contact our training team to discuss your requirements.
Yes, you will receive a certificate of completion after the course, provided you were able to attend both days and once all invoices have been settled.
We suggest that you add your achievement to your LinkedIn profile and CV, as evidence of your continuing professional development. The course is also equivalent to 14 hours of CPD.
We do not offer recordings of our training courses for a number of reasons.
Bywater training courses are highly interactive, and we strongly believe that delegates make the most out of their training days by participating in the discussion groups, role plays, and questions and answers with the tutors.
In addition, if you do not attend all of the course, you will not be able to receive your certificate of attendance, which is evidence of your commitment and achievement, and which many delegates share with their colleagues and on LinkedIn, for example.
If you do miss part of the course, contact Bywater to discuss how to complete the training.
No. It is important that your certificate reflects your commitment to the training, and we therefore need your attendance and participation throughout your course to make your certificate meaningful. We understand that circumstances can sometimes make attendance difficult, and we would invite you to contact us to discuss how to address any challenges.
As the professional body that certifies this course, the CQI and IRCA has stated that it expects delegates to already have some knowledge of the requirements of ISO 27001. This includes requirements of the standard; the Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA) cycle; and core elements of a management system.
We do have a short quiz that you can take to check your knowledge.
If you do not feel confident that you have sufficient knowledge, but do want to train as a lead auditor, you could first attend our Introduction to ISO 27001 training course. This course is designed to give you the knowledge you need to then attend this lead auditor course. Book both courses together and you can receive a £100 discount.
Yes, you will receive a certificate of attendance, which demonstrates that you have gained an understanding of the principles of a quality management system and how it can be implemented within your organisation for greatest business benefit. You can use your certificate to share within your organisation, enhance your CV and add to your LinkedIn profile, to highlight your growing skills set.
You can record this course as equivalent to 14 hours of CPD.
You are expected to have some knowledge of the requirements of ISO 27001 to make the most of this training course.
If you have little or no knowledge in this field, you may like to attend our 1-day Introduction to ISO 27001 training course first. If you book the 2 courses together you will be eligible for a £100 discount.
Whilst our public Virtual Classroom courses take place on Zoom, our dedicated Virtual Classroom training courses can take place on your preferred platform including Microsoft Teams. Please contact our team to learn more.
No, anyone who is interested in developing complementary management systems in an organisation, looking at quality, environment and/or health & safety, will find value in this course. The course looks at the requirements of the individual ISO standards, what they have in common, and how an organisation can approach integrating their management.
It also focuses on a general understanding of the benefits and considerations around business management systems. If you wish to learn more auditing, we do offer an Integrated Management Systems Auditor training course.
This course is available on a dedicated basis for individual organisations. We can deliver the training at your premises, at a venue of your choice, or online in our Virtual Classroom. Dedicated training means that the course content and practical examples can reflect the needs of the customer’s operations.
