Certification by the Royal Statistical Society (RSS) allows you to be added to the RSS register, where organisations will often search for Six Sigma professionals.

However, certification is not essential and does require you to keep a portfolio of your projects, attend an Assessment Centre, be interviewed and take a test. Many of our delegates find that learning Black Belt skills without certification on our 10-day Black Belt course gives them the capabilities they need to participate in improvement projects effectively and progress their careers.

Bywater became a Royal Statistical Society (RSS) Approved Training Organisation in 2021. The RSS has approved all of our Six Sigma training courses, confirming that our training covers the competency requirements as defined in the ISO 18404 standard, and as interpreted in the RSS 18404 Sector Scheme, which sets out the requirements for certification against ISO 18404.

To meet RSS requirements, all our tutors have to be approved by the RSS. That means they must demonstrate experience in their subjects, in managing courses, and in facilitating skills. Our highly capable Six Sigma tutors include Master Black Belts who participated in the development of ISO 18404.

While the ISO 45003 standard is intended to be used in conjunction with ISO 45001, you do not need to be an ISO 45001 expert to benefit from this training.

We recommend this Introduction to ISO 45003:2021 training course to anyone who is involved or interested in mental wellbeing care at work, including HR and line managers, as well as those implementing, managing and auditing an OH&SMS.

We offer the Understanding the European Directive 93/42/EEC concerning Medical Devices training as a dedicated course. With only your organisation to consider, you can choose the venue and the date to suit your team. The course is available both as a face-to-face option in a location of your choice, or as a live online class in our Virtual Classroom.

We will send you or the colleague who booked your course a certificate after the course ends, provided you completed the training and all invoices have been paid.

You will be able to use the certificate as evidence of your newly gained knowledge and skills by adding it to your CV or your LinkedIn profile, as well as sharing it with your colleagues.

Any organisation seeking an understanding of ISO 17020 and the accreditation process will benefit from the knowledge shared on this course.

Previous attendees have joined us from a wide range of industries, including offshore energy, building technology, plant hire, manufacturing and automotive testing.

If you are working for a forensic inspection body, you may prefer to look at our Understanding ISO 17020 Training Course for Forensic Inspection Bodies.

It helps, but it is not essential. The 1–day course does cover the application of a range of statistical techniques, and you will need a laptop or calculator with some statistical functions.

The Auditor Migration training course is certified by the CQI and IRCA, the body representing quality professionals, and satisfies the requirements for those who wish to maintain their IRCA OH&SMS auditor registration.

Delegates receive a certificate completion to provide evidence of their enhanced auditing skills.

The course is also equivalent to 14 hours CPD.

We run a number of complementary courses that offer overviews and deeper understanding of commercial relationships with customers. These include contract management, negotiation skills, procurement and category management.

Organisations have sustainability objectives that are aimed at ensuring positive environmental, social and economic impacts of their activities. With organisations typically spending more than half of their revenues with their supply chains, those sustainability objectives cannot be fully achieved without the contribution of supply chains.

If you would like to learn about sustainable procurement in more depth, you may like to consider our 1-day ISO 20400 Sustainable Procurement training course.
