This 1-day introductory course uses engaging modules together with interactive workshops and exercises to help delegates put knowledge gained into practice around ISO/IEC 17020 with specific reference to forensic applications – including guidance from the Forensic Science Regulator (FSR), International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC), and the National Accreditation Body (UKAS) for crime scene investigation.
At the end of the course delegates will have an understanding of the requirements of ISO/IEC 17020 and relevant codes of practice, as well as the role of inspection bodies.
