We are pleased to announce that we have refreshed our ISO 50001 energy management training programme to smooth the training journey for delegates and bookers. We’ve also updated the practical training to ensure continuing relevance to customers’ real-world challenges, and we’ve reviewed the course content to ensure it offers value to participants with differing learning intentions.

Organisations are recognising that an effective energy management policy is increasingly important in meeting their goals. It can help manage risk, ensure legal compliance, fulfil environmental responsibility requirements, and improve profitability through reduced costs.

Key to understanding and implementing any policy is effective training, and Bywater offers a range of proven energy management training courses, from introduction to auditing and implementation.

Supporting our commitment to continuous improvement, and driven by customer feedback, we’ve recently made changes to that programme.

We’ve brought our ISO 50001 offering into line with the structure that many clients will recognise from our other management system suites, creating a clearer and more efficient learning journey from introduction through to auditing skills.

This consistency makes it easier for organisations to plan development and upskilling across multiple standards, rather than treating each one as a standalone course.

At the same time, we’ve updated the real-world case study we use in the ISO 50001 training to reflect current operational realities, and to keep the exercises relevant and engaging.

Whilst this programme is designed to fulfil the needs of those seeking ISO 50001 certification, it is also suitable for anyone who would like to know how best practices can improve energy efficiency, but do not wish to take the certification path.
