Internal Auditor training enables you to undertake audits within your organisation. Internal auditor training courses are generally 2 days in length.

Lead Auditor training enables you to undertake 1st party (internal within your organisation), 2nd party (supplier) and 3rd party (certification body) audits. Lead Auditor training takes places over 5 days (40 hours CPD).

We offer a wide selection of internal auditor training and CQI and IRCA lead auditor training courses across a range of management standards including ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.

Delegates are recommended to have prior knowledge of the standard, for example ISO 9001, before undertaking an Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor course. We offer introductory courses across a range of standards to provide delegates with an understanding of the clauses and terminology used within the standards.

The exam consists of 40 questions to be answered in 1 hr 45 minutes. The questions are set out in various ‘domains’ and delegates will need to pass each domain. We recommend that you time your progress to ensure you get to the end of the exam in the allotted time.

Yes, Bywater has been a CTP Preferred Supplier since June 2021. The Career Transition Partnership (CTP) provides resettlement services for Service Leavers, including those leaving the army, RAF and Royal Navy.

Individual Resettlement Training Cost (IRTC) grants can be used for training with CTP Preferred Suppliers such as Bywater.

The IATF 16949 standard was introduced in October 2016 for the automotive industry, Bywater offers a range of training courses for the new IATF 16949:2016 standard.

If you have completed TS/ISO 16949 training previously then the Understanding IATF 16949:2016 could be the best option for you.

Internal and Lead Auditor jobs are advertised on a number of websites, and you can sign up to receive alerts when jobs match your requirements. If there are particular companies that you would like to work for we recommend searching their website as they may not use recruitment agencies or job board websites. There is no charge for transferring your first booking to the same course on an alternative date provided you notify Bywater at least 13 working days before the course starts. Course transfers will only occur if there is a place available for you. Only one free transfer can be made. Each further transfer request will incur an administration charge of £100.00 (excluding VAT).

Late cancellation will be subject to the full course fee being charged.

You will have 1 hour 35 minutes to complete 34 questions. The exam is divided into ‘domains’ and you will need to achieve a pass mark in each of the domains. That means you will need to pace yourself to ensure you have the opportunity to give a response to as many questions as possible.

Yes, every delegate will receive a training course folder that you can use to make notes and take away with you at the end of the course.

Yes, Bywater courses count towards your continuing professional development (CPD) if they maintain and develop the knowledge and skills you need to perform your role.

All delegates are awarded with a certificate of attendance displaying the number of CPD hours completed.
