Before and during the course FAQs
As an Approved Training Partner (ATP), many of our courses are certified by external professional bodies. These include our CQI and IRCA certified Lead Auditor and Internal Auditor training courses, our ISEP certified environmental management systems (EMS) and sustainability training, our IOSH approved Introduction to ISO 45001, and our Royal Statistical Society (RSS) certified Lean and Six Sigma events.
Our certified courses can act as a pathway to certification with a professional body, for example our CQI and IRCA Lead Auditor training courses satisfy the training requirements for IRCA registration, whilst our CQI and IRCA Auditor Conversion courses allow existing lead auditors to achieve IRCA certification in a further discipline within 3 days.
APQP is a framework for a set of techniques and procedures that will help you create a quality plan for bringing a product or service to market in a way that meets customer requirements. Not only does this improve the likelihood of success for a new product or service, but some customer organisations actually require that their suppliers use APQP techniques.
By learning APQP skills you can become a more valuable member of your team and add this skill set to your CV or LinkedIn profile to demonstrate your commitment to continuing career development.
Yes, you will be sent a certificate which you can use to demonstrate your understanding of the value of an integrated approach to management systems to your organisation, and how to get started.
This 1-day course is equivalent to 7 hours CPD.
Specifications and SLAs are frequently a key feature of customer requirements and need to be discussed and agreed in commercial negotiations. Failure to meet specifications and SLAs often result in penalties for the supplier and unexpected challenges for the customer, so it is important for both customer and supplier to understand how to agree and document their terms in detail.
Yes. CQI and IRCA, the professional body that has certified this course, requires that you have an in-depth understanding of ISO 9001:2008 if you wish to attend this transition to ISO 9001:2015 training course.
If you do not have this knowledge, but want to become a lead or internal auditor of quality management systems against ISO 9001, we recommend you take a look at our other ISO 9001 training courses that can teach you the appropriate skill sets.
All delegates who complete a course will receive a certificate that they can use to demonstrate their commitment to learning new skills in support of their business and their individual career.
Delegates to the Lead Auditor and Transition Auditor training courses will also be required to take an exam after the course before receiving their certificate. We will provide full details of what the exam entails and how to approach the questions for success first time.
Delegates to our contract management training courses join us from a wide variety of industries, including transport, energy, property development, local authorities, manufacturing, food production, education and research. One attendee commented that ‘Tutors take the time to understand the individuals and their roles and apply scenarios to the content and activities to those individuals’.
While delegates may come from different backgrounds, they are able to share their experiences in the group discussions within the course. Another delegate said that overall: ‘This is one of the best courses I have been on. I took a lot way from these two days.’
This 1-day course is a blend of expert tutoring and interactive workshops and discussions. By working through the performance of FMEA techniques you will be able to reinforce your learning while still in the classroom. This applies whether you are attending a face-to-face class or joining online in our Virtual Classroom.
Mental health at work is now being recognised as a subject that organisations should take very seriously, with many employees reporting levels of anxiety and even depression.
ISO 45003 looks specifically at how organisations can improve and manage mental well-being at work, and complements ISO 45001 and its wider OH&S considerations.
If managers, auditors and other stakeholders can appreciate how to identify and address factors that may be having a negative impact on mental health, they will have the tools to improve employee satisfaction, reduce staff turnover, and ultimately increase productivity. This course will give them that knowledge.
Yes, you will receive a certificate after the course to confirm your attendance for both days. The certificate demonstrates to your employers, colleagues and other interested parties that you have achieved an understanding of the risks and benefits of integrated management systems and know how to carry out an effective audit.
The course is equivalent to 16 hours of CPD.
