The tutor, in his easy-going, affable, and approachable manner, was able, often through the application of real-life examples and anecdotes that made understanding easier, to really bring the teaching content alive. The way he managed the learning audience, eliciting interaction from the quieter members and moderating those with a keenness to contribute was excellently managed. The check of understanding was superbly executed with clarity of points employed to ensure parity of learning was maintained across the group – all of which I believe would have been more difficult with an online course. Preparation for the exam was also extremely helpful, meaning we (especially those with minimal exam experience in recent years) weren’t caught like rabbits in the headlights and the ability to undertake the exam in handwritten form was also appreciated as some of us would certainly not have been able to answer as many questions as we did, had it been an online examination. In sum, the tutor is a jewel in the Bywater crown with the brilliant cadence of delivery and a delightful balance of teaching, reinforcement, and relatable scenarios.

I went into this course to especially understand its emphasis on the ‘process approach’. I was delighted to have a better understanding of the ISO 9001 ‘process approach’ and its link to the principle of customer focus. My expectations were exceeded especially by the content of the course.
