Richard attended the ISO 9001 Lead Auditor training in Manchester in February and has far more knowledge about audit systems and ISO 9001 standard.

What were your training objectives?

To learn how to be a Lead Auditor.

To meet the requirements of joining the CQI as a Practitioner

What learning did you take from the course?

Knowledge of how to audit management systems effectively

A far better understanding of the ISO 9001 standard itself.

Have you been able to apply anything since the course?

Not yet … as a newly qualified auditor I’ve yet to been able to get any work while waiting for confirmation if I’ve passed or not.

What have been the benefits for you and the business?

Benefits include adding skills to the business, continued professional development for myself, and it’s opened a new avenue of business development for us through my increased awareness of it’s capabilities.

How was the tutor?

Excellent.  He made the subject (which could have been quite dry) entertaining and educational.

What was the venue like?

Excellent.

Any advice to delegates?

Make sure you know the standards well before the course.  There’s enough to learn without trying to remember the elements of the standard at the same time.

Would you recommend Bywater?

Yes, without hesitation.
