IATF 16949:2016 Standard Update

5 Dec, 2016 | IATF 16949

In October 2016 the new global IATF standard was released, superseding ISO/TS 16949:2009 and aligning itself with ISO 9001:2015.

Timelines for organisations transitioning to the new standard are short. After September 2018, in line with the ISO 9001:2015 transition deadline, all ISO/TS 16949 certificates will no longer be valid.

Our specialist Automotive QMS trainers, Geoff Doole, Melanie Horne and Steve Buckle are currently updating our suite of Understanding IATF 16949:2016, Internal Auditor and Lead Auditor courses to reflect the changes and these will be ready for presentation in the New Year.
